Olympics and Smart Cities is There a Connection?

We are going to do a quick short write up on the winter games 2034 and their relation to smart cities- yes, sadly there is one.

SMART CITIES AND SPORT

There is literally a website titled the above, below is a screenshot:

How fun climate change; social cohesion and integration, and tech. Two of those three are super problematic. Sure, we hope Utah is not helping those agendas along.

As for tech, oh boy! How exciting, remember that some self-appointed elite in Utah have declared our state as an option to usher in the 4th industrial revolution, and let’s not forget the Utah government website posting and promoting the World Economic Forum and the 4th industrial revolution.

It is important to also remember that Smart Utah – turned Smart States – was created by former Utah governor Mike Leavitt and another governor. Back in the 90s, they got all 50 states to sign onto this. Obama then put it into law in 2015. Patient aren’t they?

In case you weren’t sure if good ole’ Utah is involved in this, now you can be sure, not once but twice:

Worse, you can see New York created a regional development authority for it.

What has Utah been doing? Creating authority districts? Yes, Title 11 – look it up – has them listed, but Utah went an extra mile. Utah created independent entities (that are authorities) like MIDA or the very controversial Beehive Development Agency (SB337) that was shot down this year, but they have said they will bring back.

These entities are shadow governments. They are not accountable to the People, they can tax and more. They are unconstitutional but here we are. Clearly Utah has some very BIG, and ALARMING plans for the games.

Another arm of the games is the World Union of Olympic Cities. These guys focus on keeping the “legacy” of the games alive or keeping the past cities in talks with one another. What is very concerning to us about them is what they promote. An example of SLC is below:

As you can see SLC gets shoutouts for healthcare innovation- one of those being “groundbreaking genetic engineering” and we get a shoutout for climate change nonsense, essentially. Not a proud moment.

They also are promoting smart cities. Below are more screenshots from the World Union of Olympic Cities which highlight the smart cities and sports summit. That is their own initiative.

Utah has also thrown their hat in the ring for consideration of PERMANENT LOCATIONS. The quote below is from an article from Dessert News. It is quite revealing:

“The reason for going ahead with a dual award of the 2030 and 2034 Winter Games is to give the IOC more time to study new findings on climate change that could lead to a rotation of future Winter Games among a set group of permanent hosts.
Only 10 countries will be able to provide a “reliable climate” for the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games bey
ond 2040, out of the 15 countries that already have at least 80% of the needed facilities for snow sports, Bach said.”

Not only is this a very bizarre move, but it’s also negligent by Utah. The games are extremely expensive. This would put a massive strain on the taxpayers of Utah, not to mention false growth issues.

Utah needs to remove their name from the permanent roundtable, and they should back out of the 2034 games as well. We find it appalling that Utah moved forward with their submission considering the economic situation happening in this country and what it would mean to Utahns and taxpayers nationwide. (THE MONEY HAS TO COME FROM SOMEWHERE. IT DOESN’T GROW ON TREES) It is NOT just private investors alone.
