Living Organisms Are Electromagnetic Life Forms Sensitive to EMF Exposure

  1. Blake Levitt is an award-winning journalist who has specialized in medical and science writing for over thirty years. She has researched and reported on the biological effects of non-ionizing radiation since the late 1970’s. She has helped produce documentaries and testified in front of Congress. Her take on where we’re headed is:

“All living cells and indeed whole living beings… are dynamic coherent electrical systems utterly reliant on bioelectricity for life’s most basic metabolic processes… most living things are fantastically sensitive to vanishingly small EMF exposures… man-made electromagnetic exposures aren’t “normal.”  They are artificial… with unusual intensities, signaling characteristics, pulsing patterns, and wave forms, that don’t exist in nature. And they can misdirect cells in myriad ways.”

David Icke, in the London Real interview mentioned in Part 1, also noted that our body is an electromagnetic organism. When our EM field is balanced, he says, we are healthy. When it is out of balance, we get “dis-eased.”

One example of this is the way oxygen and radiation interact. The “absorption spectrum” of a molecule is the range of wavelengths at which a molecule stops or absorbs the radiation. The absorption spectrum of oxygen molecules is 60 GHz. UK startup Sub10 Systems is promoting the 60 GHz band as the future of wireless backhaul precisely because of the way it interacts with oxygen.

Grant Grafton, Sub10’s global sales and marketing director explains, “At 60 GHz, the oxygen molecule becomes highly absorbent of electromagnetic energy, which weakens the 60 GHz signals over distance, keeping them from overshooting their intended target. This oxygen absorption also reduces link radiation so a 60 GHz link will not interfere with other 60 GHz links operating in the same geographic vicinity, thus enabling higher frequency reuse.”

Do we know what all the physical and biological effects of oxygen absorbing radiation are? No. And that’s a big part of the problem. We do know that oxygen is essential to life on earth, and it has been theorized that this type of man-made radiation could reduce oxygen levels in the blood causing a type of suffocation. More science needs to be done on this theory, but it is concerning that 5G is rolling forward at high speed and this question doesn’t so much as register a tap on the brakes.

Another concern is how 5G radiation may affect physiology at the cellular level. In March of 2022, the Journal of Marine Science and Engineering published a new study concluding that 5G radiation at the 27 GHz wavelength damages sperm quality in mussels after just 10 minutes of exposure. After 20 minutes, most sperm were immobile and “no longer vital.”  

Even the ICNERP “Guidelines for limiting the exposure to EM radiation (100 kHz to 300 GHz)” published in 2020 noted concerns about how radiation can affect cell membranes. In the research that ICNERP reviewed, they found that radiation in the 5G spectrum change the permeability of cell membranes. The cell membrane is a biological layer that separates the interior of all cells from the outside environment and protects the cell from its environment. You don’t have to be a biologist to understand that the cell membranes of healthy organisms are just as permeable as they need to be. No more, no less. It seems like common sense that changing the permeability of cell membranes can lead to other cellular issues.

It is not just the cell membrane that seem to be affected. In the Military Medical Research Journal, Yan-Hui Hao, of the Beijing Institute of Radiation Medicine, published in his ominously-titled 2015 research paper “Effects of microwave radiation on brain energy metabolism and related mechanisms,” that we now recognize the damaging effects of microwave radiation on mitochondrial structure and function. Mitochondria is known as the “powerhouse of the cell and are therefore exceptionally important to function both microscopically and macroscopically.”

Search the internet for videos about the damage 5G radiation can do to the cellular structure of leaves. It’s easy to find amateur videos showing leaves turning brown when in proximity to 5G posts.

The above image was taken from one such video shot in June 2022. The leaves are turning yellow and brown in early summer . . . in England, a very wet climate. The same video shows small insects dropping like flies (no pun intended) in the area surrounding the new technology. The videographer provided no scientific evidence linking them yet, but the fact that you have residents so surprised to see the beautiful chestnut trees damaged this way that they are taking video and posting it online is alarming.

It is well known by scientists that living organisms interact with the electromagnetic field of the earth, and that at a micro level our bodies are governed by electrical currents. Our hearts can be stopped or started and are kept beating by natural electrical currents. Brain waves are tiny pulses of electrical activity. According to Amber Plante from the University of Maryland Graduate school, “electricity is required for our nervous system to send signals throughout the body and to the brain,” she says, “making it possible for us to move think and feel.” She agrees with Icke that “disruption in electrical currents can lead to illness.”

Maybe we should do more to be sure we are not going to cook ourselves alive in a trillion-dollar microwave oven before we finish wrapping our cities in a web of high frequency electromagnetic radiation.

Adverse Health Effects of Non-Ionizing Radiation

Electromagnetic waves, like the non-ionizing radiation used with 5G wireless technology, interact with the electrical systems of living organisms. Now, let’s consider what the research shows is known about the adverse effects of that interaction. There is not a whole lot new to be presented below. Many of these adverse effects have been known for decades. But like most history, many people would rather repeat it than read it.

Dr. Olle Johansson is world renowned authority on the effects of electromagnetic fields on health. He began researching it more than 30 years ago and has published hundreds of scientific papers. He has noted that issues from people that worked around radar and electronic equipment have been reported since as early as the 1920’s to 1930’s.

In 1971, the Naval Medical Research Institute published a report entitled “Bibliography of Reported Biological Phenomena (‘Effects’) and Clinical Manifestations Attributed to Microwave and Radio-Frequency Radiation.” It’s not the most readable report. After all, it is a bibliography of scientific reports. The point of referencing it here is to show that a collection of over 2,300 sources on the biological responses to radio frequency and microwave radiation existed over 50 years ago. The report includes pages of adverse effects of non-ionizing radiation on humans noted in the research reports listed.

In 1981, NASA published a work called “Electromagnetic Field Interactions with the Human Body: Observed Effects and Theories,” which is a collection of documented effects of radiation on humans. The report authors conducted an exhaustive review of existing studies. The document lists hundreds of side effects of radiation at many different frequencies and power output levels.

In that report is an interesting observation. It was believed in 1981 that electromagnetic radiation at power line frequencies may cause death in two ways: ventricular fibrillation and sudden infant death syndrome. Ventricular fibrillation (or V-fib) is an abnormal heart rhythm due to disorganized electrical activity. Sudden infant death syndrome (or SIDS) is what scientist and doctors call a death when they have no idea what caused it. Maybe don’t put that baby monitor in the crib with Junior.

A 2002 WHO report claimed there are “suggestions” that radio frequency and extremely low frequency (ELF) waves are harmful to children. They recommended keeping levels as low as possible. By 2011 WHO classified wireless as a group 2b carcinogen. Group 2b means there is limited evidence of carcinogenicity in humans and less than sufficient evidence of carcinogenicity in experimental animals.

Fast forward to 2018 and look at research by Israeli scientists Peleg, Nativ, and Richter. They set out to reexamine whether radio frequency radiation (RFR) in the occupational and military settings is a human carcinogen and the cause-effect relationship between prolonged whole-body exposure to RFR and hematolymphatic (HL) cancers. For those not up on their oncology, HL cancers are tumors that affect the blood, bone marrow, lymph, and lymphatic system. Because these tissues are all connected through the circulatory system and the immune system, a disease affecting one will often affect the others. In other words, this is some butt-kicking cancer.

To make a long story short, they said that “the percentage frequency of HL cancers in the case series was very high, at 40% with only 23% expected for the series age and gender profile.

Now, according to the International Appeal: Stop 5G on Earth and in Space, “in 2015, 215 scientists from 41 countries communicated their alarm to the United Nations (UN) and World Health Organization (WHO). They stated that ‘numerous recent scientific publications have shown that EMF [electromagnetic fields] affects living organisms at levels well below most international and national guidelines.’ More than 10,000 peer-reviewed scientific studies demonstrate harm to human health from RF radiation.”

The International Appeal now has over 300,000 signatures from scientists, engineers, medical doctors, nurses, psychologists, doctors of oriental medicine, doctors of naturopathy and homeopathy, chiropractors, dentists, pharmacists, building biologists, architects and builders, veterinarians, beekeepers, and other concerned citizens pleading with the UN, WHO, EU, Council of Europe, and governments of all nations to “urgently call for a halt to the deployment of the 5G (fifth generation) wireless network, including 5G from space satellites. 5G will massively increase exposure to radio frequency (RF) radiation.”

These vigilant people have done the world a favor by documenting the known adverse effects of RFR and linking to current studies from their site. Effects include alteration of heart rhythmaltered gene expressionaltered metabolismaltered stem cell developmentcancerscardiovascular diseasecognitive impairmentDNA damageimpacts on general well-being,  increased free radicalslearning and memory deficitsimpaired sperm function and qualitymiscarriageneurological damageobesity and diabetes, and oxidative stress.

Effects in children include autismattention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and asthma. And to top it off, they also include in their list the harm that comes to plants and animals. Other sources provide longer lists of known adverse effects. Dozens of them.

It is now scientifically beyond dispute that the prospect of setting up an orbital grid of over 40,000 satellites constantly and simultaneously directing non-ionizing radiation from space onto a land-based network of massive MIMO base stations, beamforming small cells and fixed wireless access points that wrap up our most populated urban centers like a fly caught in a spider’s web, may not be the best strategy for the sake of streaming Instagram Reels from Yosemite.

5G Could Be Causing Coronavirus or Worsening the Effects

Arthur Firstenberg is a Westinghouse scholar who received a degree in mathematics from Cornell University in 1971. Since 1996, Firstenberg has argued in numerous publications that wireless technology is dangerous.

In his book The Invisible Rainbow, published in 2020, Firstenberg “traces the history of electricity from the early eighteenth century to the present, making a compelling case that many environmental problems, as well as the major diseases of industrialized civilization―heart disease, diabetes, and cancer―are related to electrical pollution.” (Amazon) Using epidemiological data, Firstenberg makes a strong case that the Spanish Flu of 1918-1919 can be explained by the coincidentally timed rollout of electricity all over the world.

In 2021, as critically-thinking people worldwide were scrambling to come up with an explanation for the COVID pandemic that made any sense, two credentialed scientists, Beverly Rubik and Robert R. Brown, published their findings in the Journal of Clinical and Translational Research. In a report entitled “Evidence for a connection between coronavirus disease-19 and exposure to radiofrequency radiation from wireless communications including 5G,” Rubik and Brown say they have found “a connection between coronavirus and exposure to RF radiation from wireless and 5G.”

By “crossing boundaries between the disciplines of biophysics and pathophysiology,” they were able to find and present evidence that wireless communications radiation (WCR) may:

  1. Cause morphologic changes that can contribute to hypercoagulation (blood clots form too easily).
  2. Impair microcirculation and exacerbate hypoxia (depriving the body of oxygen supply).
  3. Amplify immune system dysfunction, including immunosuppression, autoimmunity, and hyperinflammation.
  4. Increase cellular oxidative stress and the production of free radicals resulting in vascular injury and organ damage. 
  5. Increase intracellular calcium ions, essential for viral entry, replication, and release, in addition to promoting pro-inflammatory pathways.
  6. Worsen heart arrhythmias and cardiac disorders.

Blood clots, lack of oxygen, lung issues, heart problems? Sounds very familiar. Whether or not there is a direct connection between WCR and coronavirus, evidence shows that 5G radiation can cause what appears to be influenza-like illness (ILI) symptoms.

In a now “retracted” article published by the National Institute of Health (NIH) in 2020, the authors showed that 5G millimeter waves could be absorbed by skin cells and play the main role in creating coronaviruses in biological cells. The millimeter waves can produce “holes” in liquids in the nucleus of cells. To fill these holes hexagonal and pentagonal bases could join to form virus-like structures such as coronavirus.

The article was retracted by the editor-in-chief, not because the science was discredited, but because there appeared to be “manipulation” in the peer-review process. Nevertheless, seven scientists put their names on it before it was retracted. Given the recent track record of the NIH and their funding of gain of function research, the retraction makes them look more suspicious than believable.

In May of 2020, Vladimir Mordachev from the Belarusian University of Informatics and Radioelectronics in Minsk, reported a statistically significant correlation between the intensity of RF radiation and the mortality from SARS-CoV-2 in 31 countries. Cases and deaths were significantly higher in state and cities with 5G infrastructure. He found that both 5G and COVID cause deleterious effects on red blood cells and reduced hemoglobin levels. They both cause oxidative stress, cellular damage, and organ damage. Low levels of 5G can compromise the immune system. Chronic daily exposure can produce immunosuppression or immune dysregulation.

In 2021, Tsiang and Havas of Trent University in Ontario, Canada, published “COVID-19 Attributed Cases and Deaths are Statistically Higher in States and Counties with 5th Generation Millimeter Wave Wireless Telecommunications in the United States.” Their research found coronavirus cases and deaths to be statistically significantly higher for states and counties in the United States compared to those without 5G millimeter wave (mmW) technology. The 5G mmW index was a statistically significant factor for the higher case and death rates in all three analyses performed by the scientists, while population density, air quality, and latitude were significant for only one or two of the analyses.

Overall, the scientists reported, if there was no mmW exposure we could expect case and death rates to be 18-30% lower for 5G mmW states and 39-57% lower for the counties.
